Baked snack brand Bakeful is rolling out three limited-edition fall SKUs — Donutful Maple Mini Donuts, Muffinful Pumpkin Spice Mini Muffins and Muffinful Apple Cider Mini Muffins — now available at Target, Amazon and H-E-B. The seasonal push targets back-to-school and fall snacking windows, when grab-and-go, individually wrapped formats tend to drive the highest velocity in both mass and convenience channels.
The Products
All three items come in five-count boxes of individually wrapped packs. The Maple Mini Donuts include two donuts per pack; both muffin varieties include four muffins per pack. Bakeful positions the lineup around non-GMO ingredients, no artificial preservatives or colors, and 25% less sugar than traditional mini donuts and muffins — attributes that align with better-for-you snack trends gaining ground across convenience retail.
The Donutful Maple Mini Donuts are baked, not fried, finished with a maple glaze. The Pumpkin Spice Mini Muffins lean on warm spice notes, while the Apple Cider Mini Muffins incorporate real apple pieces and cinnamon. All three are limited-edition and will not carry into the off-season.
Channel & Category Context
The fall LTO cadence has become a reliable traffic driver in packaged snacks, with pumpkin spice and apple cinnamon among the highest-indexed seasonal flavor pairings in the segment. For c-store buyers, individually wrapped multipack formats like Bakeful's translate well to the single-serve grab-and-go set, where shoppers increasingly expect cleaner-label options alongside traditional roller-grill and dispensed-beverage staples.
Better-for-you baked snacks have been one of the faster-growing subcategories on the snack and candy shelf, as operators look to broaden their better-for-you offering without sacrificing impulse appeal. Bakeful's existing distribution through select Kroger and Walmart stores suggests the brand has the retail infrastructure to support c-store program conversations, particularly for chains that cross-shop mass grocery planograms.
"Fall has such an emotional connection to flavor, and we wanted to capture that feeling in a way that feels distinctly Bakeful," said Tony Davis, CEO and Founder of Bakeful. "These flavors are fun, nostalgic and incredibly delicious, but they're also convenient enough to toss into a backpack or lunchbox."
Availability varies by store location. The fall lineup is live now across Target, Amazon and H-E-B, with no announced end date beyond the limited-edition designation.
