The New Lineup

Caribou Coffee is rolling out its 2026 holiday menu on Nov. 2, headlined by a brand-new Cookie Butter White Mocha platform and a slate of returning limited-time beverages across more than 800 coffeehouses in 11 countries. The launch marks the chain's first use of the Cookie Butter flavor — a registered trademark of Monin, Inc. used under license — anchored by caramelized, spiced notes blended with the brand's signature white chocolate mocha base made with real white chocolate chips.

The Cookie Butter platform launches in four formats: a traditional hot Cookie Butter White Mocha finished with whipped cream and crumbled cookie butter cookies; an iced version; an Espresso Shaker shaken over ice and finished with oatmilk; and a blended Caribou Cooler iteration. All non-dairy milk substitutions remain available at no additional charge — a standing policy that operators in the specialty coffee segment have increasingly adopted to compete with QSR coffeehouse rivals.

Returning Favorites and Foodservice Add-Ons

Three returning holiday beverage collections anchor the rest of the limited-time menu. The Ho Ho Mint Mocha — real chocolate, espresso and mint — can be ordered across the widest format range, including hot, iced, blended, Nitro, Crafted Cold Brew and a non-coffee hot chocolate option, giving the chain maximum throughput flexibility across different daypart and consumer preferences. The Spicy Mocha (ancho chile, cinnamon and real chocolate) and the Cranberry Dark Chocolate collection, which leans on cold brew formats, round out the core returning lineup. A Cranberry Energy Drink, customizable with lemonade and coconutmilk cold foam, extends the holiday flavor into the fast-growing energy segment.

On the foodservice side, Caribou is introducing a Warm Spice Morning Bun — a flaky pastry rolled in cinnamon, cardamom, coriander and ginger — alongside the returning Chocolate Truffle Brownie and a French Toast Sandwich layered with cage-free scrambled eggs, sausage, cheddar and cream cheese. Bakery and breakfast sandwich attach rates have become an important comp-sales lever for specialty coffeehouse chains competing with convenience and QSR channels for morning traffic.

Retail and Loyalty Play

Caribou is pairing the menu launch with a limited-time packaged coffee lineup. The new Winter Wish medium roast, sourced from Central American coffees with flavor notes of brown sugar, fig and almond, joins the returning dark-roast Reindeer Blend featuring aged Sumatra. Seasonal merchandise — ornaments, tumblers and a Ho Ho Mint Mocha–inspired candle — rounds out the in-store gifting assortment.

The holiday push integrates directly with the chain's Caribou Perks loyalty program, which allows members to earn points on eligible purchases and redeem them for beverages and food. Loyalty-linked LTO calendars have become standard practice for coffeehouse operators looking to drive repeat visits during the competitive holiday promotional window, a period when dispensed beverage and foodservice programs at c-stores also intensify their own seasonal offerings.

For c-store operators and foodservice program decision-makers benchmarking their own holiday LTO calendars, Caribou's multi-format beverage strategy — offering each hero flavor across hot, iced, blended and shaken preparations — reflects a broader category push to maximize ticket size and trial by reducing format barriers to entry. Carrie Sazama, Director of Product at Caribou Coffee, said cookie butter's caramelized sweetness and warm spice profile were specifically chosen to complement the chain's existing white mocha platform rather than stand as a standalone flavor. The full menu is available for in-coffeehouse, drive-thru, app pickup and delivery orders beginning Nov. 2, while supplies last.
