The Launch
Darigold, the Seattle-based farmer-owned dairy cooperative, is rolling out a limited-edition Snickerdoodle Cookie Coffee Creamer to select Washington retailers this fall, targeting dispensed-beverage adjacency at the retail shelf with a cinnamon-sugar seasonal SKU.
The new flavor is now available at Albertsons stores in Seattle and at URM-affiliated banners — Rosauers, Yoke's, and Super 1 locations — statewide while supplies last. Darigold is pitching the SKU as a fall seasonal addition, following what the company describes as a strong re-entry for its broader creamer lineup earlier in 2026.
Product & Retail Context
Snickerdoodle Cookie is made with real dairy milk and cream sourced from family-owned Northwest farms. Like Darigold's existing line, it is lactose-free and uses natural sweeteners and flavors derived from natural sources. It slots into a five-SKU lineup that already includes French Vanilla, Caramel, Hazelnut, and Sweet Cream.
Curtis Hansen, vice president of marketing at Darigold, said the creamer line has been "incredibly well received since returning to store shelves earlier this year," adding that the Snickerdoodle variety is meant to deliver a seasonal baked-goods flavor cue for morning coffee routines.
For c-store operators and retail food-and-beverage buyers, the launch reflects a broader seasonal-flavoring trend in the refrigerated creamer set — a category that has seen consistent velocity gains as at-home and convenience-channel coffee consumption continues to climb. Limited-time flavor drops, borrowed from the QSR playbook, have become a reliable traffic and basket-size driver in the dairy aisle and, increasingly, at the forecourt grab-and-go case. Washington-state operators carrying URM-supplied product or stocking Albertsons-distributed dairy lines should expect to see the SKU in their planogram rotation.
What It Means for Operators
Darigold processes approximately 10 billion pounds of milk annually across 10 Northwest production facilities, making it one of the largest U.S. dairy producers and a significant supplier to both foodservice and retail channels. Its cooperative structure — owned by more than 200 family farms in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana — positions it as a regional dairy anchor for grocery and convenience retailers from the Pacific Coast to the Rockies.
Seasonal LTO creamers occupy a narrow but commercially active slot in the dispensed-beverage and packaged-coffee category that c-store retailers have worked to expand. For smaller-format operators sourcing through URM-affiliated distributors, this is a low-risk seasonal add while the product remains in supply.
