For the fourth consecutive year, MGM Resorts International is positioning its Las Vegas Strip portfolio as the primary hospitality destination surrounding the Formula 1 Heineken Las Vegas Grand Prix, with a concentrated slate of culinary and beverage programming spanning Bellagio, ARIA, The Cosmopolitan and Park MGM during the November 16–22 race window.

The activation scope underscores how major resort operators are treating motorsport events as foodservice revenue drivers on par with major convention weeks — deploying guest chef takeovers, mixology residencies and premium prix fixe formats to capture high-spend visitors already on property.

The Culinary Lineup

The beverage anchor is Bellagio's returning Shoey Bar, open November 19–21, which offers cocktails served in Sparco motorsport shoes with water from the Bellagio Fountains embedded in the design, plus a helmet-presented punchbowl cocktail called The Lid and a caviar-and-cocktail combo called The Kit with butler service. MGM Rewards members get early access from 11 a.m., with public hours running noon onward.

At Park MGM, Pepsi's Flavor Circuit activates November 19–21 at 3758 Las Vegas Boulevard, pairing signature bites from local restaurants with Pepsi and DRIPS by Pepsi crafted beverages — a format that mirrors the kind of beverage-plus-food co-marketing increasingly common in large-format hospitality settings. New York cocktail institution Employees Only runs a concurrent residency at Park MGM's Reserve Bar from November 18–22, bringing its West Village speakeasy playbook — including burlesque, resident DJs and a psychic booth — to the forecourt of race weekend nightlife.

At The Cosmopolitan, Momofuku Las Vegas offers Lights Out, a four-course prix fixe available all three race nights featuring Australian Wagyu (marble score 8–9) and king crab Louie, supplemented by a roaming caviar cart and raw bar specials. Wicked Spoon buffet runs a Formula 1 calendar–themed menu November 20–21, with a two-for-one offer for Nevada residents November 16–20.

Premium Pours and Guest Chefs

At Bellagio's Yellowtail, a one-day collaboration on November 19 pairs Tokyo yakiniku destination Yoroniku with cocktails by award-winning bartender Shingo Gokan. Yellowtail extends hours to 3 a.m. Friday and Saturday with a $150 minimum spend. Michael Mina Bellagio runs a three-day wine series ($145 per day or $399 for all three, capped at 30 guests daily) featuring Silver Oak, Williams Selyem and Quintessa, each led by the respective winery's director. New York's Superbueno takes over The Vault at Bellagio with agave-forward cocktails and late-night plates November 19–21.

Private chef and cookbook author Olivia Tiedemann takes over Scarpetta at The Cosmopolitan on November 20 for a ticketed dinner built around her book Eat (Like) the Rich, while the Terrazza Champagne lounge at Bellagio offers Moët & Chandon and Dom Pérignon pours with Fountain views November 19–22.

Why Operators Should Watch

The MGM Zone model — concentrating curated food and beverage activations within an existing hotel portfolio during a high-traffic event window — is a format that resonates beyond Strip mega-resorts. Sports and entertainment-adjacent foodservice programming is accelerating across hospitality channels as operators seek to monetize captive event audiences beyond the gate. For convenience and travel-plaza operators near major speedways and event venues, the playbook translates: limited-time beverage formats, local-brand collaborations and loyalty-member early access windows have all shown traction in driving incremental transaction size.

Ryan Abboushi, MGM Resorts' President of Entertainment, framed the approach around differentiation: "Through our partnerships with top global brands, our resorts along The Strip are set to provide race fans from all over the world with an experience they won't find anywhere else."
