National Retail Solutions' NRS Petro division and Bennett Pump Company have launched a national pricing program aimed at helping independent fuel retailers upgrade their forecourts without the capital burden typically faced by smaller operators. The program bundles Bennett fuel dispensing equipment with NRS Petro's EZ PUMP payment technology, available at nationally consistent pricing across the United States. Retailers can also opt for Bennett's factory payment equipment if preferred. "Everything we do at NRS is about helping independent retailers compete, and this program is no exception," said Elie Y. Katz, President & CEO of National Retail Solutions. "Independent fuel retailers should have access to modern forecourt technology at pricing that makes sense for their business. Working with Bennett allows us to approach the entire site differently. Instead of looking at the dispenser, payment technology, and point of sale as separate investments, we can create a much more competitive modernization strategy for the independent retailer." The offering follows the companies' July announcement integrating Bennett dispensers with the NRS Petro point-of-sale platform.

Optional Display Technology Bennett dispensers can be configured with a 12-inch media display at the pump, allowing operators to control content—video, static images, and sound—without incurring monthly merchandising fees. "NRS gives independent fuel retailers another choice when it comes to building a reliable, cost-effective forecourt," said Paul Stone, National Accounts Manager, Bennett Pump Company. "The company brings an established POS platform serving tens of thousands of locations nationwide. NRS is a solution that is practical, flexible, and designed specifically with the independent fuel retailer in mind." Bennett's pricing program is available through authorized Bennett distributors, while EZ PUMP is accessible through NRS and its distribution network. The combined offering integrates equipment, payment processing, and point-of-sale management traditionally available only to larger fuel retail chains.

Why It Matters

For independent c-store and fuel retailers, equipment costs and payment processing represent significant capital and operational expenses. Bundling these solutions at national pricing levels the competitive playing field against larger chains that negotiate volume discounts directly with manufacturers.
