The Product

Organic Valley, the nation's largest farmer-owned organic cooperative, is rolling out a Maple Cream Flavored Creamer as a limited-time addition to its dairy creamer lineup, available from October 2026 through June 2027. The 32 oz. carton carries a $5.99 suggested retail price and slots alongside the co-op's existing French Vanilla and Sweet Cream dairy creamers, as well as its oat-based line in French Vanilla, Caramel, and Cinnamon Spice.

The new SKU is lactose-free, contains no artificial sweeteners, and carries no stabilizers such as gellan gum. At 3 grams of sugar per 15 mL serving, it delivers 40% less sugar than the leading creamer brand, which checks in at 5 grams per serving — a spec that gives category buyers a cleaner-label callout at the dairy door.

Why It Matters for C-Store Buyers

Flavored dairy creamers have been a consistent traffic driver in the convenience dairy case, where dispensed-beverage culture and take-home purchases overlap. Seasonal and limited-time flavors — particularly autumn-leaning profiles like maple, pumpkin spice, and caramel — command above-average turns through the October-to-December window, according to recurring NACS State of the Industry category data on chilled beverages and dairy adjacencies. A product running through June 2027 gives operators shelf continuity well past the initial seasonal spike, reducing the risk of a gap SKU in the organic creamer segment.

Organic Valley's positioning on pasture-raised dairy — sourced from cows raised without antibiotics, synthetic hormones, or GMOs — aligns with the better-for-you segment that convenience retailers have been building out in cooler sets as they compete more directly with grocery and natural-channel accounts. For single-store operators and regional chains alike, an organic, lower-sugar creamer from a nationally recognized cooperative brand offers merchandising credibility without requiring a full natural-foods reset.

Outlook

"Made with organic dairy and inspired by the rich, comforting flavor of maple, our newest creamer brings a delicious, seasonal twist to help consumers elevate their everyday coffee experience," said Laurie Drake, vice president of marketing at Organic Valley. The cooperative, founded in 1988, is owned by more than 1,500 organic family farms.

For c-store category managers building out their organic and better-for-you dairy programs, the Maple Cream SKU pairs naturally with hot-dispensed-beverage stations, where take-home creamers often see incremental lift when merchandised near the forecourt coffee program. Retailers focused on seasonal foodservice and packaged-beverage tie-ins can use the limited-run window to drive basket size among health-conscious shoppers who already index high for organic dairy. The $5.99 price point positions it at a modest premium to conventional creamer but below most specialty or private-label organic alternatives.
