The New Lineup
Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, Inc. is rolling out its most substantial menu refresh in recent quarters, leading with a limited-time Prime Rib Stack Burger and a new beverage platform at participating locations nationwide beginning Oct. 19. The additions span burgers, appetizers, chicken, desserts, and a five-SKU dispensed beverage line — a broad simultaneous drop that signals renewed focus on driving check and traffic at the casual-dining chain's nearly 500 U.S. and Canada units.
The Prime Rib Stack Burger anchors the launch with a hand-pressed beef patty layered with sliced prime rib, Monterey Jack cheese, caramelized onions, and garlic aioli on a black-and-white sesame seed brioche bun, served with a bottomless side. The build is a direct play for the premium-protein consumer who has fueled double-patty and smash-style burger demand across both full-service and fast-casual foodservice channels over the past two years.
Value and Beverage Moves
Alongside the LTO, Red Robin is returning the Bleu Ribbon Burger and Burnin' Love Burger to its Big YUMMM Deals menu at $9.99 — a price point that includes an entrée, bottomless side, and bottomless beverage for dine-in. That bundle structure keeps the chain competitive against fast-casual combo pricing while preserving table-turn revenue that a la carte ordering can erode. Both returning burgers carry distinctive build profiles: the Bleu Ribbon leans on HEINZ 57 Sauce, bleu cheese crumbles, and crispy onion straws, while the Burnin' Love delivers fried jalapeño coins, pepper jack, and salsa.
On the beverage side, Red Robin is launching Bottomless Refreshers in five flavors — Tropical Dragon Fruit, Mango Passion Lemonade, Sunset Lemonade, Poppin' Purple Lemonade, and Raspberry Limeade — with an option to add Red Bull as an energy boost. The Red Bull integration tracks a wider dispensed-beverage trend visible across both casual dining and convenience-store foodservice, where customizable, energy-forward drinks have become a meaningful traffic and margin driver. Brian Sullivan, executive chef and vice president of Culinary & Beverage Innovation at Red Robin, said the Refreshers "tap into some of the most fun and current beverage trends our guests crave."
Broader Menu Context
The fall update also adds Spinach Artichoke Dip, two new chicken wing flavors (Lemon Pepper and Lemon Pepper Buzz), a Grilled Chicken & Broccoli entrée, and two milkshake SKUs — Cookie Dough and Salted Caramel Brownie. The breadth of the drop reflects a strategy common among full-service chains trying to give loyalty members and lapsed guests multiple reasons to return in a single visit cycle rather than sequencing menu news across quarters.
For operators and foodservice buyers tracking casual-dining trends that migrate into convenience and QSR-adjacent channels, the dual move — premium LTO at full price, returning fan-favorites anchored to a value bundle — is a textbook response to a bifurcated consumer environment where both indulgence and value are performing, but mid-tier, undifferentiated menu items are losing share. Red Robin's Red Robin Royalty loyalty program, active across nearly 500 locations, gives the chain a direct channel to communicate the new items and measure trial velocity by cohort.
