Arkansas-based SANY Nutrition Group is putting its Beyond Resilience protein-indulgent snack platform on Walmart shelves nationwide, marking the family-owned manufacturer's first push into U.S. retail after earlier launches in Europe and the Middle East.
The lead SKU — a caramel-chocolate Protein Crunch Bar delivering 15 grams of protein across two 40-gram servings — is stocked in Walmart's bakery section rather than the conventional protein-bar aisle, a deliberate placement designed to pull incremental shoppers rather than compete head-on with established bar sets. Products are also available direct-to-consumer at the brand's website.
The Manufacturing Story
SANY's Jonesboro facility underpins the launch with annual capacity of up to 500 million bars and bites. The plant combines what the company describes as European-American process technology with vertically integrated services spanning custom formulation, regulatory and labeling support, ingredient sourcing, quality assurance, nationwide warehousing, and distribution. That integrated model is the same infrastructure SANY uses for private-label manufacturing partners, giving it a cost and speed advantage it claims can move a concept to a shelf-ready product in weeks.
"We are building SANY and Beyond Resilience for generations," said Angela Pernsteiner, founder and investor of SANY Nutrition Group. "Our goal is to combine the creativity and speed of a U.S. startup with generations of manufacturing experience, European technology, and the resources needed to deliver consistent quality for our customers."
A Broad Product Pipeline
Beyond the Protein Crunch Bar, SANY is rolling out Crunch Pops — a savory, chip-style snack in Chili & Lime, Caramelized Corn, and Nacho Cheddar flavors — in October 2026, each 20-gram serving carrying 16 grams of protein. The broader pipeline includes Prookies (soft layered cookie-style bites at 15 grams of protein), Giant Clusters (caramel and chocolate protein clusters at 15 grams), Brittles (bite-sized snacks at 7 grams), Fro-Bite (frozen real fruit coated in sugar-free protein chocolate at 4–6 grams), and Vitamin Splash (freeze-dried fruit in protein chocolate with 20 mg of added vitamin C per serving).
For c-store buyers, the portfolio breadth is worth watching. High-protein snacks have become one of the fastest-growing segments in the better-for-you category, and operators who have carved out dedicated sets beyond the roller grill are seeing incremental ring from shoppers who treat grab-and-go protein items as meal replacements rather than candy-bar alternatives. The Crunch Pops format in particular — light, crispy, chip-adjacent — maps well to the impulse-snack fixture that many chains are expanding near the dispensed-beverage station.
SANY's stated ambition extends well past a single retail partner. The company has acquired additional land adjacent to its Jonesboro campus to support future capacity and has positioned its platform across four pillars — Bakery & Pastries, Better For You & High Performance, Comfort Snacking, and Frozen & Freeze-Dried — plus B2B food ingredients and functional pet snacks. How quickly the brand converts that pipeline into c-store-ready formats and price points will determine whether it becomes a meaningful supplier to the channel or remains a mass-retail story.
