The Lineup

Tim Hortons U.S. is leaning hard into branded-candy co-marketing for Halloween 2026, debuting a six-item limited-time menu built around TWIX® and OREO® tie-ins at participating restaurants effective September 30. The move signals the quick-service chain's continued push to convert seasonal beverage occasions — particularly in hot and frozen coffee — into incremental check growth during the high-traffic October window.

The headlining beverages are two TWIX®-branded offerings. The TWIX® and Treat Hot Chocolate layers the chain's signature hot cocoa with whipped topping, chocolate drizzle, and crunchy TWIX® pieces. Its frozen counterpart, the TWIX® and Treat Iced Capp®, blends TWIX® pieces directly into Tim Hortons' established Iced Capp® base — a dispensed frozen-coffee platform that drives meaningful attachment at the brand's U.S. forecourt and drive-thru footprint — then finishes with whipped topping and additional candy pieces on top.

Baked Goods and Bundling

On the food side, the Spookies n' Screams Croissant made with OREO® fills a baked-fresh croissant with OREO® cookies, chocolate dip, and whipped topping, finished with powdered sugar and cookie crumbs — a back-of-house-friendly build that keeps prep complexity low. Two hand-decorated donuts round out the Halloween set: a Mummy Donut built on a chocolate cake ring with vanilla icing, and a Frankenstein Donut — a yeast donut filled with vanilla fluff and decorated with chocolate and vanilla icing faces.

The bundle play is the Timbits® Trick-or-Treat Bucket, priced at $11.99 for 31 Timbits® while supplies last, with a $6 refill option and the bucket also available empty for candy collection. The tiered price point gives operators a clear upsell path at the register and positions the item as a family-traffic driver in the weeks before Halloween.

Channel Context

Candy and LTO co-branding has become a proven demand driver across foodservice and convenience channels alike. For chains competing in the c-store-adjacent QSR lane — where Tim Hortons' U.S. drive-thru model overlaps directly with forecourt foodservice — a recognizable candy brand on a beverage menu lowers trial friction and lifts average ticket. NACS data consistently shows October as one of the strongest months for inside-sales comps in channels that carry hot dispensed and frozen beverages, making Halloween LTO execution a meaningful lever.

The chain, which operates more than 6,000 systemwide restaurants across Canada, the U.S., and international markets, also carries a parallel fall menu that includes a Pumpkin Spice Latte, Frosted Pumpkin Cake Donut, Pumpkin Muffin, Cinnamon Caramel Apple Latte (hot or iced), and an Apple Cider Timbit — broadening the seasonal SKU count and giving loyalty members multiple visit occasions through the quarter.

"Halloween at Tims is all about the little moments that make the season fun — a donut that makes your kids smile, a treat you didn't plan on but absolutely deserve," said Maria Posada, Vice President of Marketing for Tim Hortons U.S. Posada added that guests return annually for the Halloween lineup and that the TWIX® and OREO® co-branding, paired with the Timbits bucket, reflects what the brand is prioritizing this cycle.

For operators tracking competitive foodservice moves, Tim Hortons' candy-brand integration strategy mirrors tactics seen across convenience-channel foodservice programs where name-brand ingredient callouts on menu boards drive incremental attachment. Chains building out seasonal beverage platforms with recognizable confectionery partners have reported measurable lifts in both transaction counts and per-visit spend during limited windows.
