Plymouth, Wis.-based Carbliss is converting its limited-edition Americana Backyard Bliss Pack into a permanent SKU, renaming it the Backyard Bliss Pack and rolling it into retail distribution across its 23-state footprint. The move follows a short-window launch that climbed to the #4 highest-velocity spirit-based ready-to-drink cocktail in Total U.S. Food during the four weeks ending July 12, according to Circana data — a ranking achieved despite the variety pack reaching only 22% distribution.

Velocity Numbers

The Americana Backyard Bliss Pack also posted multiple #1 rankings in sales velocity and year-over-year growth across key Midwest markets including Wisconsin, Iowa and the Plains region, making it one of the fastest-growing innovations in the brand's history. For c-store buyers sourcing spirit-based RTD cocktails, those Circana figures at limited distribution point to meaningful shelf-turn potential as the brand pushes distribution deeper. Carbliss counts zero carbs, zero sugar and 100 calories across its lineup — positioning that has resonated in the better-for-you segment of the alcoholic-beverage category.

"New innovation within the ready-to-drink category continues to be an important driver of growth, and Carbliss is committed to delivering bold, flavor-forward products consumers are excited about," said Hannah Williamson, Data Analyst at Carbliss. "The response to the Americana Backyard Bliss Pack exceeded our expectations. Its performance nationally, combined with the impact it made through our Sip for a Cause campaign, confirmed that this product deserved a permanent place in our portfolio."

Veterans Tie-In

Beyond the velocity data, the Americana pack carried a charitable component. Through the brand's Sip for a Cause campaign, sales helped raise more than $75,000 for Missions of Honor, a Wisconsin nonprofit that organizes honor flights for veterans. On July 24, members of the Carbliss team joined Vietnam veterans on an Old Glory Honor Flight to Washington, D.C. Co-Founder Adam Kroener called the experience a defining moment for the company, noting that standing alongside those veterans made the purpose behind the product tangible in a way the team did not anticipate at launch.

What Changes, What Stays

The transition to permanent status brings a packaging refresh while keeping the same four flavors: Apple, Cherry, Grape and Strawberry. Kroener characterized the rename as building on what the Americana pack accomplished rather than retiring it. The eight-count variety format is now moving through Carbliss distribution channels to retail accounts. Since launching in 2019, the brand has sold more than 216 million cans and earned back-to-back recognition as the #1 Food & Beverage Company on the Inc. 5000 list — a growth trajectory that gives category managers context for the velocity numbers the Americana variant posted in its brief window on shelf.
