Domino's Pizza is running a seven-day system-wide discount — 50% off every menu-priced pizza — from July 27 through Aug. 2, the Ann Arbor-based chain announced Sunday. The offer spans delivery and carryout orders placed on dominos.com, the Domino's mobile app, by phone, or in person at any participating location.

The promotion applies to all six crust options, any topping combination, and the full Specialty Pizza lineup. There are no category exclusions on menu-priced pies, making it one of the broader limited-time value plays the brand has executed in recent memory. Domino's reported global retail sales of more than $20.6 billion in the trailing four quarters ended June 14, 2026, across a network of more than 22,500 stores in over 90 markets — 99% of them operated by independent franchisees.

Why the Timing Matters

Summer has historically been a softer demand window for pizza delivery as consumers shift spend toward outdoor dining and grilling occasions. A steep, uncomplicated discount — half off anything on the menu — is a direct play to recapture off-premise meal occasions during a period when fast-casual and grocery prepared-foods sections compete aggressively for the same dinner dollar. For c-store foodservice operators watching adjacent channels, Domino's move is a reminder that pizza remains a high-frequency, price-sensitive category where promotional depth drives trial and order frequency.

"Summer is all about making memories, whether that's a backyard get-together, family movie night or simply sharing a meal with friends," said Frank Garrido, Domino's executive vice president and chief restaurant officer. "It's a great opportunity to try something new or enjoy your favorite pizza for less."

Digital Sales Backbone

The deal is structured to funnel orders through Domino's digital ecosystem — dominos.com and its mobile app lead the redemption channels — consistent with the chain's broader strategy of generating more than 85% of U.S. retail sales via digital platforms, a figure the company cited for full-year 2025. That digital concentration gives Domino's granular data on attachment rates, daypart behavior, and repeat purchase cycles that most c-store pizza programs are still building toward.

For convenience retailers running in-store pizza programs — whether fresh-baked, grab-and-go, or made-to-order — the week of July 27 represents a meaningful competitive headwind at the prepared-foods counter. Operators who have invested in proprietary foodservice programs may see basket pressure as value-seeking consumers migrate toward the Domino's offer. On the flip side, c-stores with strong dispensed-beverage and bundling strategies can lean into drink-and-snack combinations that delivery channels don't replicate at the forecourt.

The promotion is limited to one week and carries no announced extension.
