National Expansion Targets High-Traffic Convenience Channel

Sidari Artisan Brands has launched Guinness® Steak Cuts at approximately 1,300 Kroger Fuel Center locations nationwide, marking a significant expansion for the premium meat snack brand. The rollout follows spring category resets, positioning the product in grab-and-go perimeter displays across one of the country's largest fuel-center networks.

Product Details and Positioning

Guinness Steak Cuts are crafted from 100% whole-muscle eye-of-round steak marinated in Guinness 0.0 and other premium ingredients, then slowly oven-roasted using a proprietary cooking process. The line retails in three flavor profiles: Original (described as pot roast-inspired), Coffee, and Chocolate.

The expansion capitalizes on premiumization trends in convenience channels, where retailers increasingly compete on assortments balancing indulgence with perceived quality. The product earned a Double Gold in both Taste and Design at the 2025 CPG Awards by Food and Beverage Magazine.

Strategic Momentum

"Launching in Kroger Fuel Centers is a milestone we're incredibly proud of," said Elizabeth Brauser, co-founder of Sidari Artisan Brands. "Convenience shoppers are some of the most discerning buyers out there; they make fast decisions and reward the brands they trust. Guinness Steak Cuts is built to turn heads on the shelf and earn its place in the basket again and again."

The move builds on existing distribution in grocery, convenience, and Amazon channels. Additional retail expansion is planned through the remainder of 2026 and into early 2027.

Why It Matters

For operators and retailers, the Kroger Fuel Center placement signals growing demand for premium protein snacks in high-velocity convenience locations. The brand's established awards and multi-channel presence suggest proven consumer demand, while the timing—following spring resets—indicates successful category negotiations. Convenience operators should monitor similar premiumization plays in fuel centers as brands compete for wallet share in impulse-purchase categories.
