The Menu Drop

Paris Baguette is pushing its fall limited-time menu into all North American cafés beginning Aug. 26, stacking two flavor platforms — caramel apple and pumpkin — across bakery, pastry, and dispensed beverage formats. The lineup runs to roughly 15 new and returning SKUs, making it one of the chain's more expansive seasonal rollouts as it tracks toward a projected 1,000 café footprint by 2030.

The caramel apple platform leads with a four-layer Caramel Apple Streusel Trifle (also offered as a single-serve Trifle Cup), a King Cream Donut variant, a Liège-style Belgian waffle, a butter tart, and two café beverages — a Caramel Apple Macchiato and a Caramel Apple Matcha Latte, each available hot or iced. The pumpkin slate returns with a Pumpkin Streusel Tart, Pumpkin Cheese Danish, and a Pumpkin Spice Cruffin, layered alongside three beverage builds: a Pumpkin Streusel Latte, a Pumpkin Chai Oatmilk Latte, and a Pumpkin Sweet Cream Cold Brew.

Savory and Loyalty Plays

Paris Baguette is rounding out the fall set with savory pastry items, a category that bakery-café operators have leaned into as a traffic driver across dayparts. Returning options include a Pesto Chicken Pizzetta with Goat Cheese and a Turkey, Cranberry & Goat Cheese Pastry Sandwich. New to the lineup is a Chicken Sausage, Egg & Cheddar Everything Breakfast Pastry Sandwich — maple chicken sausage, freshly cracked egg, and cheddar on an everything-seasoned flaky pastry — a format that targets the morning daypart where bakery-cafés increasingly compete with QSR breakfast.

"Every fall season, we look forward to serving our guests a menu of iconic pumpkin treats as well as new fall flavor news," said Cathy Chavenet, Chief Marketing Officer at Paris Baguette North America. "This year, we have thoughtfully reimagined your favorite pumpkin classics and crafted a decadent caramel apple lineup to turn everyday moments into cozy fall rituals."

The loyalty push runs concurrent with the menu launch. PB Rewards members receive a $3 medium latte or macchiato offer and a $3 medium matcha or chai offer every Monday from Aug. 31 through Sept. 20, each valid through the following Sunday. National Coffee Day (Sept. 29) adds a free medium coffee with any purchase. New app sign-ups earn a free pastry on first use — a standard new-member acquisition mechanic that bakery-café and c-store loyalty programs alike have deployed to build digital engagement.

Channel Context

The seasonal LTO cycle is well-worn in foodservice, but Paris Baguette's dual-platform approach — splitting a fall menu between caramel apple and pumpkin rather than defaulting entirely to pumpkin spice — reflects a broader effort by bakery-café operators to differentiate from QSR chains that flood the channel with near-identical pumpkin programs starting in August. For convenience-store foodservice operators watching adjacent channels, the caramel apple build across tart, donut, waffle, and beverage formats illustrates how a single flavor concept can be leveraged across multiple dayparts and SKU types — a strategy applicable to dispensed beverage and grab-and-go bakery programs at the forecourt.

Paris Baguette is also pairing the launch with a No Kid Hungry fundraising campaign — guests can donate $1, $2, or $3 at checkout or round up in-app through Sept. 30 — folding community giving into the seasonal traffic push under the brand's Love Baked In™ platform.
