The Product
Little Caesars is leaning into the garlic-flavored pizza trend with the launch of its Cheesy Garlic Pepperoni, a limited-time offering priced at $6.99 and available at participating locations through December 27. The pie doubles down on garlic — incorporating it into both the sauce and the crust — marking a notable departure from the chain's classic red-sauce lineup.
The build starts with a cheesy garlic white sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, and garlic herb seasoning, then finishes with a toasted garlic Parmesan and Asiago crust. The approach positions the LTO squarely in the premium-flavor-at-value lane that has driven traffic for quick-service pizza operators competing against elevated fast-casual alternatives.
Availability and Format
Cheesy Garlic Pepperoni is available as a Hot-N-Ready item from 4 to 8 p.m. local time — the chain's core grab-and-go window — as well as through online order and the Little Caesars app for carryout or delivery. National advertising launched November 9, with San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle headlining the campaign.
For operators and franchisees, the Hot-N-Ready daypart window is a meaningful detail. Limiting in-store hold inventory to the 4–8 p.m. block reduces waste exposure on a white-sauce SKU while capturing the peak weeknight dinner rush, a strategy the chain has refined across several prior LTOs.
Guests can also find three additional Cheesy Garlic varieties — Cheese, Bacon & Ham, and Mushroom & Onion — via online ordering only, broadening the platform without adding forecourt or counter complexity at the store level.
Channel Context
The $6.99 price point is a key competitive lever. Pizza remains one of the highest-indexed foodservice categories at convenience stores, and value-positioned QSR chains like Little Caesars directly compete for the same dinner-occasion dollar. As c-store operators expand their own made-to-order and grab-and-go pizza programs, LTOs that anchor on a sub-$7 price signal to channel buyers where consumer price sensitivity sits.
Garlic-forward flavor profiles have broad menu traction across QSR and fast-casual pizza right now, tracking alongside consumer appetite for bolder, sauce-layered builds. For a chain with over 65 years in the pizza segment and locations in all 50 states and 30 countries, the Cheesy Garlic platform offers a low-operational-lift way to cycle variety without restructuring back-of-house prep.
Chief Marketing Officer Greg Hamilton noted that guests are seeking new flavors and variety alongside familiar favorites, framing the launch as an extension of existing loyalty rather than a pivot — a posture consistent with how the chain has managed LTO risk across its Hot-N-Ready franchise base.
