McCain Foods USA's TAST!EZ brand is expanding its frozen snack lineup with Flavor-Fulls, a three-SKU set built around cheese- and sauce-filled centers. The products hit frozen aisles at Walmart and Wakefern starting this month at a suggested retail price of $4.99 per unit, adding a sauce-integrated format to a segment where condiment-free convenience is a growing purchase driver.

The SKU Breakdown

Flavor-Fulls come in Mini Marinara Mozzarella Sticks, Mini Creamy Garlic Mozzarella Sticks, and Cheddar & Bacon Potato Bites. Each variety pairs a crispy breaded exterior with a molten center — either a classic marinara pull, a creamy garlic sauce, or a cheddar-and-bacon potato filling. All three are designed for air fryer or conventional oven preparation, positioning them squarely in the at-home snack occasion rather than the foodservice pipeline.

Roderik Nuyens, Director of Retail Marketing for US Snacking at McCain Foods USA, framed the launch around the gap between convenience and flavor payoff. "Today's consumers want snacks that are easy to prepare, but they also want something that satisfies," he said. "We're bringing a creative take on frozen snacks that delivers restaurant-inspired flavor at home in just minutes."

Frozen Snack Context

The sauce-inside architecture is a direct answer to a friction point in the frozen appetizer set: the need for a separate dipping vessel. For c-store operators managing hot-case and roller-grill programs, the format is familiar — items that deliver a full flavor experience without add-ons have long outperformed in high-traffic, time-pressed environments. While Flavor-Fulls are positioned for retail grocery rather than the forecourt, the sauce-built-in concept mirrors what foodservice-at-c-store operators have leaned on for years with filled roller-grill items and dispensed-sauce programs.

TAST!EZ launched in 2024 with Mini Mozzarella Sticks and Garlic Cheese Curds and picked up a win in the Frozen Appetizer/Snack category of the 2025 BrandSpark Best New Product Awards. McCain Foods USA, headquartered in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois, employs roughly 4,000 people across production facilities in Idaho, Maine, Nebraska, Washington, and Wisconsin. Its parent, McCain Foods Limited, generates annual sales in excess of $16 billion CAD and operates 49 production facilities across six continents.

For c-store category managers watching the frozen and packaged snack set, the Flavor-Fulls rollout signals continued SKU velocity in the filled-appetizer subcategory — a space that has drawn heavy innovation investment as operators look to upgrade grab-and-go foodservice with minimal labor overhead.
